I think many of you are missing the biggest point. If there was no GOP involvement, everything points to the FBI creating this dossier and “laundering” it through John McCain to legitimize it.
The FBI created a fictitious document in order to acquire a “legal” FISA warrant in order to wiretap a presidential candidate and provide that info to the other candidate.
In any sane universe, that would mean decades of jail time for many senior FBI officials.
Not taking up for the Clintons, but isn’t paying for information about a candidate something everyone does?

It seems to list things based on known facts...but the whole thing about Hillary not knowing is not believable. That the DNC was colluding with Hillary’s campaign during the primaries and considering the amount of money spent, I don’t believe she wouldn’t have signed off on the expense. Surely for that much money she would be part of an approval process. Same goes for somebody in the DNC, what executive level has to sign off?

The “origin” of the “dossier”. Simple.
There was a group on 4Chan that supported Trump. One of the children of a Bush campaign worker showed up and was being nasty. He finally got kicked out and they decided to put together some “research” they had “found” to put it in his hands and then embarrass him when it was proven false and Jeb was embarrassed.
They put together a 16 page “report” that someone leaked to the kid. His dad got his hands on it, but realized it was too slimy to taint Jeb! with. That made for a problem. So, he forwarded it to a buddy of his, one Richard Steele. On the 4Chan group, they had all the details of the salacious fraud they had created. Including the links to the photo in a NY newspaper that completely proved the claim of Trump’s lawyer going to Europe to meet with Russians, as he was at a party on the date and time in question. They documented the intentional misspellings of one person’s name, and some other details.
When Steele released his more than 30 page report, all the misspellings, provably false and other claims they made up were a part of it. He had gathered information from other sources that was just as bad of fiction.
Unfortunately, because they caused so much ruckus, their channel was deleted. Some of the records were kept, but it is nothing but a faked mess.
