Comedian and daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is receiving some backlash from fans after a joke about Katy Perry was taken as sexist.
The star courted outrage on Wednesday after dedicating a tweet to the Roar singer on her birthday.
Happy birthday, @KatyPerry! Its time to bring out the big balloons! the star wrote over an image of her gawking, mouth agape, at Perrys breasts.

Thought that was Hellary.
If it were a man making the same comment..............
Kind of Weinstein-ish of her...
Ahh look at that! Liberals hating each other again. LOL.
Its all a big joke to these Hollywood scum.
Shocked and appalled. (Oh yeah everyone knew about it.)
Ellen DeGeneres can’t be sexist, because vagina. Or something.
Everyone in the picture certainly seems to be enjoying themselves.
If? Are you saying Ellen isnt a guy?
Let’s not over-correct here.
The three women are all friends. They are all wealthy adults. Katy is not dependent on satisfying Ellen’s libido for her job. Even in today’s world, there should be a safe place to act silly with your friends.
Sometimes a goofball is just a goofball.
That said, some women need to allow the same flexibility of definition for men too. If you don’t like something, just say so. You may have to sacrifice some short term gains for it.
Keep on swimming.
Disgusting, immoral, diseased, Hollywood sleazebags.
Everything’s funny until somebody losses an eye.
People were probably shocked and appalled. But nobody was willing to risk their meal ticket to do something about it. so Hollywood is filled with not only depravity, but moral cowardice as well.
It’s actually “Katy Pairy,” I believe.
I like to keep abreast of such things.
“Ellen DeGeneres cant be sexist, because vagina. Or something.”
No, Ellen isn’t being sexist at all, and neither is a man who is attracted to breasts (I’m a man, but not a breast man personally). If you have an honest reaction to something you find beautiful and give a compliment in a humorous way, as Ellen was doing here, it’s not a bad thing to do. If a person makes it clear that they do not welcome such compliments, honor her wishes. But Katy P is hardly a shrinking violet. Nobody should get a free grope, but I think speech should be fairly open and unrestrained.
LOL, good one.
Was it, I dunno with all this gender confusion going around.
