The IRS was going to stonewall the TEA Party applications regardless of who was in the White House. To an IRS agent, “TEA” = “RIF.” It was an existential threat to far too many comfortable powerful bureaucrats. We shouldn’t expect them to go quietly without a fight.

It’s proof that the federal permanent bureaucracy has grown far too large and powerful; it no longer recognizes any restraint on its power. Not from Congress, which it openly defies at every turn, not from the elected Executive, which it routinely ignores. Not from any Court it disagrees with.

And certainly not from the American people, over whom it rules.

IRS, FBI and the so-called “intelligence community” are among the agencies that are mainly interested in political operations against American citizens. Shut ‘em all down.

I call “BS” on “The IRS was going to stonewall the TEA Party applications regardless of who was in the White House.”

Had there been ANY other person in the White House than Ophonybama, TEA Party would have been treated fairly!
