Exactly! He thought he may not be around then. Sometimes people think they will not live beyond a certain age but they live beyond that. I thought my parents would die in their 90’s because grandparents died in their late 80’s & early 90’sn but no they died in their 70’s.
Ask yourself “what, at this late date, do they need to redact?” It is because both the CIA and the FBI were neck deep in planning and carrying out the assassination.
If the CIA and FBI were actually involved in the Kennedy Assassination in any manner, it would cause a shutdown of the agencies even today.
If what I just read 10 minutes ago in these new releases is true....Oswald was CIA. Says he was trained by CIA to go undercover through ONI to the Soviet Union.

I remember reading something in a local newspaper in the early 70s when I was a teen about the Kennedy assasination papers not being released for fifty more years. BOY those five decades went FAST!

hahahahahahahahhaha. They could come right out and say, "We killed the womanizing degenerate", and nothing whatsoever would be done. "Mistakes were made".
There’s one small problem with that theory: Why would the USSR go into a full disinformation campaign (which Pacepa had been directly involved in, BTW) as a result of the assassination if it actually WAS the FBI and CIA who were responsible for the actual assassination? Heck, why would Markus Wolf, a former Stasi spymaster, point fingers at Fidel Castro during that time?
