Career State Department Bureaucrats Triggered By Audacity of Trump and Tillerson Executing Foreign P
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | October 26, 2017 | sundance

The U.S. State Department consists of the most entrenched group of life-long professional political bureaucrats in any sector of the government.  The scope of the mindset really comes to the surface within leaks from inside the Deep State machine that became the basis for a Politico article today.   You really have to read it to fathom the scope of elitism.

The article, and the sentiment carried from within the bureaucracy which frames the construct, highlights the level of indignation within the agency toward President Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson as they carry out foreign policy objectives. The article contains a State Dept. quote which thoroughly encapsulates the mindset therein:

“We are implementers of policy decided by Tillerson and his team,” one veteran State Department official concluded.

Oh, the horror.  The career officials within the State Department are reduced to being “implementers” of foreign policy instead of being able to construct the policy on their own.

Yes, in essence, they are complaining about having bosses.

As usual the Conservative Treehouse understands what is happening, The bureaucrats at the State Department don't yet admit to "getting it".

This portion of the Deep State, evidently did not yet get the message of the 7th Floor Massacre at the State Department? (February 17, 2017)

http://www.theeventchronicle.com/breaking-news/breaking-secretary-state-rex-tillerson-fires-deep-state-shadow-government-7th-floor-traitors/

Much of seventh-floor staff, who work for the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources and the Counselor offices, were told today that their services were no longer needed.

The state Dept. has been infested with leftists going back to at least the 1940s.

totally sucks when the people who you work for and who write your paychecks get to tell you what to do. i can see why they’re so upset. After all, every job I’ve ever had I always got paid to do whatever I felt like doing and was never accountable to any one.

Yes. The ideal of cutting State Department budget by 1/3 is ambitious. I think that might actually be good medicine.

Long before Trump’s election, I was beating the drum saying it is TIME to DownSize DC! I remember some here saying, that is not going to happen, when did he ever say he was going to do something like that?

Here we are. The Deep State stabs Trump in the back daily. They should expect him to react. He is and will.

yes indeed.... President Trump has a tremendous opportunity to fix the sicko infested Snake Department for America and USA’s future

if he Drains the Swamp.....
if he gets around to it

I fear that the Swamp alligators, who are pretty obviously working hard to undermine DJT’s presidency, will win the battle...unless he retires them SOON

I think Rex was a great pick. I can only imagine coming from the private sector to the public federal bureaucracy is a challenge. I think the best thing we could do is eliminate public unions, then the bad employees can be fired. That should have happened a long time ago at the VA, could have saved some lives.

THE LAST REFUGE.. Isn’t this the very writer that MARK LEVIN insulted as a nobody that came out of a career as a grocery store clerk, or some such asinine slam? I really am not sure it was Levin the mouth, but I think that it was.

I’ve not heard that, but read here on FR somewhere he was a grocery store manager.

Makes no difference, he is connected to someone who is well informed. He get’s it.

I don’t really like his blog, but he has been way out on point on a lot of important issues. He was very early for Trump and relentless as a dog after a bone.

His accuracy percentage is very good.

Yes, he writes extremely well and is obviously a thinker and intelligent. Can’t imagine how he spent much of his life in a grocery store, unless when he was really young.
