I recently visited Barcelona. Migrants are everywhere and apparently are welcome. So Catalans don't seem to have a problem paying for them.

Most of the push for independence has come from the hard left. It’s prime movers are the likes of Anna Gabriel of CUP (she got her start with Antifa), and Oriol Junqueras of the ERC. This is not a tax revolt and has nothing to do with Brexit. It is primarily a cultural and linguistic matter and the presumption of superiority by many Catalans with regard to the rest of Spain. Arrogance is a very good term for this.

Wrong its 20 percent not 40.... a bit more than California ratio......and the commie Catalans are not whining about that they actually want more transfer payments from Madrid.....you should choose better heroes
