I spent three month where three hours a day were taking care of a 99 year old man.
He proposed to every woman who helped care for him. Usually on the first day there.
He was surprisingly lucid and fun to be around, but he had memory problems.

My gramps was very impressed with the the rigidity of his catheter and he showed it to everyone in his last days.

I feel very fortunate. My 96 year old mom lives with me and she is the same person now mentally that she has always been. I sure hope it’s in the genes.
