Does the law allow for keeping the names secret? Why would anyone today need to be kept secret?
Looks like Oliver Stone was pretty damned close. I keep hearing how wrong his concept was...then i watch Congress freak out and pass a law. Then i watch the CIA and FBI fight to keep their records secret. Then i watch some names still being withheld.
All because Stone was totally wrong...got it.
There are reasons to keep names of agents secret even after they are dead. They have kids, people whose careers they advanced (who might be current agents), etc.
Apparently Stone was also right about the shadow government. Now we call it the deep state.
