Shut up Woody, who did you rape?

I saw an off-Broadway play several years ago that Harrelson was in. His character has a line that troubled me then and your comment reminded me of it.

Woody's character's buddy asks Woody (as part of their banter) "Hey, what's with all the adults having sex with these underage kids?" Woody's character responds "I don't know; sexy kids."

The audience laughed. I didn't.

I realize an actor is not necessarily the character he or she plays but they do have a choice in taking or passing on a role. This was a play written by a friend of Harrelson's.

Hollywood (I know, this was a theater) keeps pushing their perversion until it's acceptable. This is the "big one" for them.
