Just before Millennial age. But the facts are irrelevant of my age. Everyone likes free or close to free, especially on healthcare. Conservatives apparently are all for getting rid of freebies for others, but not themselves if this thread is to believed. But here are the factts - The fed government spent $350 billion a year on medicaid last year and and $600 billion on medicare. Let’s assume this year will be $1T. If it continues to grow at 8% annually like it has since 1960, in 20 years, it’ll be $4.7T/yr. In 40 years, it’ll cost $22T a year. Where are you going to find dough to cover that? It doesn’t exist, despite your wish that this program continues without changes.
