The Senate has confirmed another of President Donald Trump's judicial nominees.
The Senate by a vote of 84-10 confirmed Trevor McFadden of Virginia to serve as a judge on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
McFadden has served in the Trump administration as a deputy assistant attorney general. He is the ninth judicial nominee of Trump's presidency to win confirmation.
The Senate will next turn its attention to the appellate courts. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has teed up votes this week for four more judicial nominees.

84-10, cant be good
It’s a district court. The circuit courts are more contentious.
Good news: One more Trumpster federal judge.
Bad news: One less Trumpster in the DOJ (where there are few).
Well he got almost 40 Rat votes that makes me nervous. Id like to see every judge vote 50-48.
I would NOT like to see every vote 50-48. The danger of a unified party line vote for every nominee is obvious - some day we will be in the minority again. The Rats can add and the 40 votes the Rats ceded were throw aways. Shows that they don’t want straight party voting for every nominee either.
They are “faking sincerity” of course, and will vote en bloc when they think they can peel off 4 or 5 feckless asshat Republicans (you know the usual crowd) for a truly good and solid conservative that they hate.
He clerked for a judge that was on Trump’s Supreme Court list.
It likely shows they’re tiring out trying to oppose everything.
Some probably voted Tea to "prove" they aren't total partisan hacks for when more important positions need to be filled and they dig their heels in - even votes are part of the political war plans....
approving at a break neck pace - for turtles
