Mysterious professor in Papadopoulos docs says he did not discuss Clinton emails

[SNIP] Joseph Mifsud, a former Maltese official who co-directs the London Academy of Diplomacy at the University of Stirling, was identified in media reports after details in the documents pointed to his attendance at a conference in Russia last year.

He told the Daily Telegraph Tuesday that he is the professor in the documents, but said that the acquaintance in Moscow with government connections who he introduced Papadopoulos to was only an academic.

Mifsud also told the paper that he did not know anything about Russian “dirt” on Clinton, and said that he was upset by the “incredible” claims.

He also diminished a claim that he introduced Papadopoulos to a relative of Vladimir Putin, which the adviser also admitted was untrue.

It is unknown how deep Mifsud’s connections to Russia are, or whether they extend beyond his work in diplomacy.

Did Mueller's band of Hillary supporters even speak with the purported source of "dirt" from Russia? Yesterday's melodrama looks like a big farce. If Manafort committed financial crimes before he went to work for Trump/Pence 2016, what has that got do with the President? Nothing.

Papadapolous is a fabulist who is peddling for a book deal, a nobody pretending to be a somebody. Also, much of the info that fingered Papadapolous came from the Trump administration itself, as all the emails and notes were turned over to both Mueller and the House and Senate Intelligence Committees investigating Russian collusion. The Senate investigation has already declared that there is nothing there involving the Trump campaign. This is all a show to make liberals happy. The real dirt involves the Podesta Group.
