An email sent by George Papadopoulos last year provides the first hard evidence that the former Trump campaign adviser was friends with Sergei Millian, an alleged source for some of the most salacious claims in the infamous Steele dossier.
The Washington Post reported Tuesday night that Papadopoulos sent an email to Trump aide Boris Epshteyn last September seeking to set up a meeting with Millian, who he reportedly described as a friend. Epshteyn told The Post that the meeting did not occur.
Papadopoulos, a 30-year-old energy consultant, is in the news this week because it was revealed that he pled guilty earlier this month to lying to the FBI about contacts he had with Russians just after he joined the Trump team in March 2016. Documents showing Papadopoulos July 27 arrest and his Oct. 3 plea deal were released on Monday by the Office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, which is investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government. The link between Papadopoulos and Millian is significant because it could explain how information from someone in the Trump campaign ended up in the dossier, which was financed by the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee. The jaw-dropping document cites unnamed Trump campaign associates as the ultimate sources for the allegations about collusion with the Kremlin.

Clinton Plant who would thought
Yep, looks like he was a planted troll and maybe the wire was not for Trump but for the Podestas bunch of cronies.
.
Papadopoulos was exposed as a Hillary operative early on, and that is why he was never given any assignments.
.
George Papadopoulos a Clinton/Podesta mole was the source for the info alledged to come from inside the Trump camp.
In a way, this Papadapolous guy strikes me as a wannabe who embellishes his bumbling around to appear like a bigshot. He reminds me of the used car salesman/wannabe gubmint spook in the movie TRUE LIES, who talked a big game, but when confronted by Arnie & Jamie Lee, he wet his pants and ran away.

He embellished because he was being paid by Fusion GPS to come up with “Russian collusion” stories, and the more he made up the more they paid him. He wasn’t a paid Trump staffer, he was living in London, and the money had to be coming from somewhere.
This guy is a nothing burger.
He worked for Clinton’s State Department. Should have been a red flag.
Check records at banks will clear it all up!
It’s the reason people have not been cooperating (more will be exposed)
From all these relevations, it seems more and more likely that the DNC sought to plant certain people in the Trump campaign in an attempt to compromise him by association.
Papadopoulos was supposed to be focused on Greece, his only area of expertise, so why was he pushing Russia? And Page, another smarmy dude, who still hasn’t been clear who he is (and MSM doesn’t seem to want to find out), he’s like a roach that was skulking around the periphery looking for an unattended door.
A tandem campaign was run to destroy Trump personally and label him as all those things spouses accuse divorcing spouses of. And Don Jr was a target too, tricking him into a meeting with a gal being butlered around Capitol Hill by Oakland’s own Dellums. A compromised Don Jr would destroy the Trump brand. For daring to interrupt ‘how business is done in DC.’
Thank goodness Trump was elected. We little people thought that government was crooked, but we had no idea the depth of the smarminess. It’s out there now, tho!
This is breathless reporting, but I see few facts. Somebody point out please if I missed something
A Steele Dossier source was ethnic Russian Igor Danchenko of Belarus. He falsely claimed his source was Sergei Millian.
You didn’t miss anything. Turns out Igor Danchenko falsely claimed his info to Steele came from Sergei Millian, and the FBI used that nonsense to wiretap Carter Page.
