He's not? Then why is is all scripture read through his prism in the Catholic Church, to the extent that whole libraries of ancient Catholic works have been tossed in the trash because "they didn't understand then what we understand now?" He may not be officially a saint, but in reality he's a bigger saint than all the others.

Kindly do not respond to me again without addressing the elephant in the room: whether or not the mere fact of their narration means that all the events described in Genesis must be historically true and accurate. What is it with you Catholics that you can believe anything except that?
