Apparently, you need to put a trigger warning on that link, my friend.
I remember seeing that on SNL. So funny !!! ... wished to see it again but back then there was no internet, no youtube, etc. You had to wait for the show pop up in reruns to see it again.
What, exactly, is surprising about Liberal snowflakes getting their panties in a knot over, well, just about anything and everything?
Unless Im missing something, The Atlantic simply doesnt get it on a very fundamental part of the modern scene.
I feel sorry for Millennials. Unable to enjoy silly comedy simply as silly comedy. Unable to sit back, relax, have a good laugh without judging.
I saw Steve Martin’s “King Tut” tour at the Universal Amphitheater in the late ‘70s with the Blues Brothers as the opening act. Great show.
The hyper-offended leftist victim-mongers of the 21st century would have been aghast at not only the King Tut part of the show, but would’ve no doubt hysterically accused John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd of “cultural appropriation of African-American bluesmen.”

They should just go full nuclear and play Blazing Saddles...
It isn’t offensive to liberals if blacks do it. They cannot be held to the same standards as whites.
Upon hearing of the snowflakes being offended by his “King Tut” video Steve Martin replied...
“WELL EXCUUUUUUUUSE ME!!!”
You literally cannot make this stuff up...
PC thought is like the plant in Little House of Horrors. It always wants more.
“Walk Like an Egyptian” was a big hit a while back. I guess it would be panned, or banned, in today’s climate.
A true comedy classic with something to offend every brand of snowflake.
I actually read most of the article. If I didn’t know it was real I would swear it was a satirical piece written by someone on LSD.
These people are certifiable.
These are the New Puritans. They can’t stand knowing that someone, somewhere, is enjoying something without their approval.
Your right especially with John Belushi whom I consider a very talented & extremely funny man. Especially with John’s Samurai Hotel or Deli for making fun of Japanese & John’s impression of Joe Cocker singing “With a little help from my friends” making fun of a disability.
If these brain dead kids were alive back then we would not have many great comedians because they are not sensitive.
