>>Is he still receiving pay from the military?

Yes. For eleven months while they deduct $1000 per month out of his pay and then give him a dishonorable discharge.

>>He will always be looking over his shoulder.

And probably stay among like minded people for his own protection.

>>in the service of...or...afraid

Wanting to think that most servicemen, even lawyers, are brave enough to deal with threats, that points to the former.

so lemme get this straight- become a deserter- endanger the lives of a bunch of soldiers who go looking for the deserter- an the army says ‘meh- no big deal’- but call a trannie the wrong sirname and get punished? Send your kid to reparative therapy if they become mentally ill and think they are gay, or another sex, and face jail time? Try to protect your child from predators who can now use the opposite bathrooms, and your branded a hater and face jail time? etc etc etc?

The prosecution should push for a mistrial because the judge is incompetent!

I don’t know much about him, but when he talked down to Trump in February, I figured this was coming.

“The Judge, Army Col. Jeffery Nance, wrote in his ruling that Trump’s comments were ‘disturbing and disappointing’...”

All of the issues you raise are reasonable statements of our conservative positions being upended by progressive judges. That they have become the common status quo says how far Obama took the judiciary down that progressive path. Let’s sincerely hope this is an indication of a philosophy that Trump’s new judges, both civil and military, will make obsolete with time. We need to keep pressure on Congress to keep up the new confirmations. And remind Trump that the military judicial system has been exposed to the same progressive ideology.

Never thought of it that way, but you’re right. Let’s hope they put him on something useful like KP.

If I was that traitor, I would prefer to be in prison. It would be a much safer place for him.

BLANKET PARTY

A blanket party is a means of hazing or punishment conducted by a peer group.
Blanket parties are most frequently conducted by groups within the military or police.

In a blanket party, the victim is restrained by having a blanket flung over him and
held down at the corners. Then the remaining members of the group strike him repeatedly
with batons, sticks, or improvised "flails" such as a sock or bath towel loaded with
something solid, like a bar of soap, a padlock, stones or rocks).

What the hell is wrong with this judge?!!!!

Time for some real justice by the people.

Bring back the public stocks and shame these worthless, traitorous bastards on the public square.

And that goes for Bergdahl too!

What do you bet they would throw the book at anyone even THINKING of a blanket party?

I actually had an 8th great grandmother prosecuted by her son-in-law, my 7th ggf, for adultery and sentenced to be stripped to the waist and tied to the Great Gun at noon for fifteen minutes in Newport RI in the 1600s. Ah, those were the days.

These days, for sure.

But back in the day.....

That's how they discouraged homos and other pervs.
