Hannibal or the other warriors, can't think of their names, Atilla the Hun, Genghis Kahn, probably didn't cause much if any environmental damage and certainly not global warming from the horses.

And the melting of the glaciation over much of the northern US was definitely not due to humans because there weren't many humans then, and we know there were vast, thick glaciers that melted.

The bible talks of the cedars of Lebanon I believe was no fiction or myth. Lebanon I can't think of the topography but would bet without looking it up that most of the cedars were logged out and used for building.
