Just about all the associations the Democrats counted on to burnish their appeal to the public are in the process of discrediting themselves. The theory of branding tells us that associating one brand with another desirable brand helps it take on some of the luster. Thats why you see so many product endorsements, for instance.
For decades we have seen images of prominent Dems and Hollywood icons together, so much so that the brands are somewhat intertwined, meaning people feel sort of the same way about one as about the other. Somewhat glamorous, or at least familiar. People we enjoy. Sometimes, even people we admire or even trust.
So, when one falls out of favor, the other tends to follow. Thats why scandals lead to cancellation of endorsements.
Hollywood is only the first citadel of evangelical liberalism, eager to mingle its brand with the Democrats so as to bring about political recruits. The #MeToo ethic of speaking out is spreading, and the details get gorier.

The Republicans brand, too.
“Get ‘em up! Move ‘em out!” - Frankie Laine
The democRATS have changed their brand to Marxism/Communism. So yes, the brand is going away.
I personally luv how Hollywood is eating itself lately. Even high profile actors like Kevin Spacey are not immune. I actually liked the work that Spacey has done, but its all tainted now that I know he’s a pedo. The Press might have been aware of these Hollywood rumors, but they stayed mum because they admired and parties with these people.
It remains to be seen whether the dam will really burst on the Clintons. Unlike Hollywood, I think most of the Press is on their payroll and will continue to have their back until the $$ dries up.
Even cornflakes and laundry soap have to keep their brands new and improved. Both parties have politicians whose shelf life is past. It’s got to the point that I can smell pee when Hillary, McCain, Lewis, Pelosi, Leahy and others show up on my screen. Yeah, Trump is old but he is a new brand.
Well let’s see...
1. 2016 nominee under investigation for numerous criminal acts, possibility of indictment.
2. Former DNC head resigns under pressure, then turns up at the center of a Congressional spy ring that may be the greatest threat to national security in history.
3. Interim DNC chair resigns under pressure, then turncoats and publishes “tell all” book describing corruption and incompetence of former DNC leaders and ex-Potus.
4. Current DNC leader under pressure to resign.
5. Potential future nominee blaming former candidate for election-rigging
6. Hollywood sex abuse scandal destroys credibility of DNCs most well-known spokesmen and most visible supporters.
7. NFL-ESPN melt-down further erodes public image of Democrat party.
8. No obvious candidate for 2020 - dozens of names in contention do not bode well for unification of D party.
9. Special election defeats and current polling not favorable for DNC gains in midterms, where they have many more seats at-risk.
10. Republican Governorships increasing, even in blue states.
And this is just a partial list.
Couldn’t happen to a better bunch of a**holes.
Or a bigger bunch of a**holes.
I don’t think it’s so much the Dems have changed to Marxism as it’s they’ve finally been open about it, and have taken to ramming it on us at full speed.
They need to identify using their real name.
National Socialist Democrat Party.
Democrat Party = Pizza Party
"Communism; 100 million murdered and counting, come join our party today!"
What's not to love? (sarcasm off)
Sins became so severe (rape, election fixing, thumbs on the scales of justice) they could not be kept quiet. Now, the confluence of Weinstein, Brazile, Mueller, Trump, Sessions, and Hillary refusing to leave the stage has quite the mess laying in front of us.
And often forgotten; Weinstein was a huge contributor. They're finances were already on shaky ground...he was keeping them afloat. Now he's gone. Sooo, sooo sad.
I've been waiting for this comeuppance for most of my entire life.
“I dont think its so much the Dems have changed to Marxism as its theyve finally been open about it, and have taken to ramming it on us at full speed.”
Absolutely true! And they are so vociferous now, because they can see their decades of skullduggery and lying to get us to where we were with Obola (the jumping off place for Hillary’s final assault and the conversion of the USA to the USSA), going for naught with the advent of President Trump, with all of their “hard work” going into the $hitter at warp speed. They can’t begin to “internally process” how their whole game is over, but they surely know that it is. Hope to read about some of the most deranged of their number jumping off of tall buildings in “protest!”

I think the rats have a bigger problem. A large chunk of the party have come out as socialists. Meanwhile on the republican side, a large chunk have come out as moderates. It sounds to me that before 2020, there will be a third political party that will be made up of democrats who don’t want to call themselves socialists and anti Trump republicans.
The good thing is they can call themselves the Democrat party. The Conservatives will be the Republican party and the third party will be the Social Democrats, or Socialist party.
I personally believe that the left will not let this crisis of their own making go to waste. I think they (Soros and his fellow cabal of leftist one percenters) will try to crash the economy and then try to blame Trump and his supporters. They will pull the pin and blow it up if they think they are on the verge of defeat. It would be a financial wag the dog...

I think so, too.
No problem, corporate entities are taking up the slack though it will cost them dearly in the long run.
