Both Bush Presidents Lash Out At Trump, GHW Confirms He Voted For Hillary

The fading Republican establishment remains unable to reconcile its ongoing collapse, and continues to scapegoat Donald Trump for all the GOP’s troubles instead of looking in the mirror.

Two weeks after an outraged George W. Bush lashed out at Trump, accusing him of emboldening “bigotry and white supremacy“, on Saturday we learn just how deep the animosity toward Trump runs within the extended Bush household. In a new book to be released this month from historian Mark Updegrove, titled “The Last Republicans“, and previewed on Saturday by the NYT and CNN, former President George H.W. Bush said he considers Trump a “blowhard,” only interested in feeding his own “ego.” Meanwhile, his son, former President George W. Bush, thinks Trump fans public anger and came to office without any understanding of the job.

When asked about Donald Trump in May 2016, GHW Bush said: “I don’t like him … I don’t know much about him, but I know he’s a blowhard. And I’m not too excited about him being a leader.”

His son was just as vocal: “Wow, this guy doesn’t know what it means to be president,” the junior Bush said, indicating that a president should not “exploit the anger, incite it” but rather “come up with ideas to deal with it.”

(snip)

In any case, both former presidents worry that Mr. Trump has blown up a Republican Party that they spent two lifetimes building; Dubya also told Updegrove: “I’m worried that I will be the last Republican president.”

These Bushes top the sore loser cake. Given them a room with snuggle dogs and coloring books.

If it wasn’t for that wimpy moron GHWB and his “Read My Lips” promise, and his weak tea campaign against Ross Perot, we wouldn’t have had the Clinton Crime Family, and perhaps not even Zero. I almost regret my votes for both of the Bush Presidents, and I will definitely never vote for Yeb. To hell with all of this family.

Honestly I don't know. I wouldn't want to jinx anything but yeah, I see your point.

Equally interesting, since you bring up R & D alike, is Donna Brazile pretty much spilling the beans, or at least all of them that she touched.

Obviously covering her own butt.

Kinda makes me want to revisit all the stuff about Barry Seals and Mena, Arkansas that we all wrote off as paranoid conspiracy theory at the time.

>>”One hundred and two years ago Teddy Roosevelt split the Republican Party to advance his progressive agenda. Progressivism, or Big Government Republicanism, became the philosophy of the Republican Party’s establishment elite.

That’s ridiculous at best and dishonest at worst. The GOP formed to create a government that had absolute control over the states. the first Republican President started a war to insure that the federal government would reign supreme over the 10th Amendment.

TR brought the Humanism that is Progressivism into the GOP, not the big government concept. He provided the carrots to Abe Lincoln’s stick for keeping the states in line.

So—Conservatives are supposed to support RINOs, because; but a Republican can vote for a DemocRAT and that’s just fine.

The Bush Family is acting like they are guilty - by going on the offense and with their loyalty to the Clintons. The Mena stories just got a lot more believable.

The one consistent thing Trump has been able to do since being elected, is to draw the Deep State and slimy Swamp Creatures out into the light of day and exposed them for who they really are instead of what they make themselves out to be.

This Bush book is a prime example of the swamp draining has exposed the slime that existed below the surface.

Trump, You Magnificent Bastard!

Trump is the light of the bug zapper and these globalist insects fly right into it. It is amazing.

Good analogy.

He baits the hook and casts it out there.

The democRATS, liberal media, GOP establishment, #NeverTrumpers, all jump on the bait and most get hooked.

What's amazing to me is that none of them have figured Trump out yet. And they keep taking the bait.
