Taqiyaa?
The article does raise the question that she's only posing as a Jihadi defector:
"Astonishingly, given what is known about the way ISIS treats those who turn their back on it, John agreed to his wifes demands to leave."And a true comprehension of Taqiyaa requires that we discount her current behavior/lifestyle as evidence that she has defected. For no behavior counts against a Muslim, if it is done for the sake of "Taqiyaa," the sacred Muslim obligation of deceiving infidels.Since, "she wrote in one of her Facebook posts: Im still so in-love with Ioannis .. Nonetheless Im tired of being pushed over the edge by him, and being told: Tania, youre a strong woman! Pick yourself up so I can push you over again! I want my husband back but not on those terms.""
When performing a Taqiyaa, every Islamic sin becomes a holy act... whether that was her non-Muslim divorce, her drinking alcohol, her "joining" of a church or her non-Muslim revealing clothing.
Quite possible. One can never be sure, since Muslims are permitted to deceive non believers.
