NFL Viewers per Week over Last Four Years:
Bet the NFL owners are cursing and tearing their hair out—good!
It is so bad that the NFLPA is broadcasting ads to try to show patriotism... Too late...
NFL = No Fans Left
Hopefully, the stands will be conspicuously empty at all games on Sunday. The concessions and the parking dollars really crater with poor attendance.
I saw one of those ... gag me ... LOL !!!
The only bright spot in the data posted appears to be the Dallas game. Take Dallas out of the equation and the data looks even more glum for the NFL.
I saw that and couldn’t quite believe it when I saw it.
Ummm, there’s at least 80M left.
See, I’m the naysayer here. Has the NFL been hurt? Sure. They have handled this entire kneeling situation about as bad as they possibly could have. And Goodell is right in the middle of that.
But stepping back, what does it really mean? Instead of the NFL making oh, let’s say $900M this year, maybe they’ll only make $850M. Does it make them take notice? Sure. But the league is still a successful business and one of the strongest brands in the country and on TV.
Ever see a beautiful woman and just admire her for her natural beauty... and then she started talking and completely destroyed the image you had of her? It’s almost the same here.
So many people watched the NFL and saw this great sport, and then all (most) of the athletes started taking a knee and the scales just kinda fell off people’s eyes.
I really don’t think the NFL realizes just how much damage they have done to their brand. Awhile back I wouldn’t have thought this, but I know think it may be very, very difficult for the NFL to ever again get to the pinnacle they once owned. There was a deep relationship between the NFL and fans and they have unilaterally shattered that. Good luck getting that back again — ever. That kind of relationship is built over decades and they have significantly damaged that relationship.
The one that causes me a grin is Kaepernick who has hired Hollywood Attorney Mark Garrigus to relieve him a few million dollars in a hurry. HAHAHAHA!

You have to understand that it’s no longer possible to save the NFL. Once an organization goes SJW it never goes back. Most of the people not watching are not part of a boycott. They just get the feeling that the NFL hates America and bit by bit they stop watching. The NFL is going experience the long slow decline that most organizations that suffer SJW take over go through.
The impact is probably more widespread and painful than you may realize. Otherwise, the NFL wouldn’t be casting about looking for “solutions.” Ditto for the NFLPA and their faux-patriotism commercials.
A 20 percent drop in viewers (if advertising rates stay the same) means 20% FEWER dollars for player salaries next year. Teams are already dumping high priced players for cheaper younger players. The days of a team signing a Albert Haynesworth for $100 million are over. Wait til that starts to sink in to these overpaid thugs ...
Ad revenue down....owners’ revenue down...players’ revenue down.
I saw that and screamed "you freakin' anti-American hypocrites!" and then turned the channel.
CGato
Too true. Once the mask is dropped, you cannot put it back on and be believed. The NFL is filled with thugs and anti-American thugs at that. There is no going back from that.
Don't kid yourself. These billionaire owners and millionaire players can't afford to make even $1 less than before. Their goal is to increase profits by 10 percent per year forever.
We've got the scare on; let's keep the skeer on. Until they change their ways or go busted.
Only solution is FIRE THE KNEELERS.
(Never happen.)
SJW? I’m slow today..
