Celebrated evangelical preacher Franklin Graham has urged politicians and other world leaders to stop insisting that Islam is a religion of peace, when the exact opposite is true. In the wake of this week’s deadly attacks by jihadists in Barcelona, Rev. Graham—the son of Billy Graham—tweeted that politicians should stop saying “Islam is a religion of peace”:
In other words, the religious ideology behind Islam itself, rather that the extremism of a given group such as the Islamic State, is often what leads to the violence and terrorism carried out against infidels by Muslims.
In his politically incorrect text, Graham wrote that “we are making a mistake by allowing the operation and spread of the dark and dangerous teachings of Islam.”

Franklin Graham is one of the few public figures speaking any truth right now.
Kudos to Franklin Graham.
Actually, it would be extremely confusing if lieberals stopped referring to islam as a religion of peace - it would be incongruous and stick out. See, everything they say is a lie and opposite of morality - they are for murder for the innocent unborn, but against society sentencing guilty murderers to death. I can track them by knowing that everything they say is the opposite of the truth. So, if they started calling islam a religion of war, I’d be a state of total confusion.
I thoroughly enjoy the “Islam is a religion of peace” comments - the perfect example of irony.
When do liberals march out and stand in line to announce Islam’s peaceful status? After almost every major terrorist attack. I’d guess they pull out the script after every mass shooting (or bombing, or truck ramming) and then one in ten times put the script away unused, when they find to their relief and surprise that a non-Muslim did it.
Franklin Graham is very courageous to speak this truth.
For 1,400 years the West has physically suffered the onslaught of Islam and has hjad to fight back for its survival multiple times.
We are in the midst of such a historical cycle right now.
Political correctness and the siren song of diversity and globalism cannot erase the horrors and enslavement of Islam to its adherents.
The truth must be told. Islam means “submission”, not “peace”.
On this, his father Billy’s 99th birthday, Franklin Graham shows himself a true warrior of the Gospel, unashamed of the turth that sets men free.
If the civilized world is to survive, Islam must be understood for what it really is: It’s not a religion, form of government, or anything recognizable to the civilized mind. Islam is a disease, an incurable disease of the mind that is highly contagious among the feeble minded and is now spreading among the world’s feeble minded at an epidemic rate. As with any disease, one can’t reason with this disease, negotiate with it, or treat in a manner other than how one would treat any other incurable disease.
As past efforts to contain this disease have failed, carriers of this Plague of Islam must be eradicated wherever they're found, for if they're not, this disease could eventually end not just Western Civilization, but it could undo over 5,000 years of human civilization.

You can’t serve God using the devil’s tools. Islam’s most sacred tenant is war. It allows a Muslim to lie, murder, rape, enslave, steal, and anything else necessary to advance Sharia law and religious dominance.

If we had actual reporters, every time a politician uttered that ridiculous phrase, he would be asked, “What is the evidence that islam is a religion of peace”?

Franklin has courage and integrity......obviously he is speaking out to warn.
Our political elite are, instead, taking money and saying nothing.
I respect Graham.
Our politicians, the Clintons, Obamas, the Bush family, McCain and the rest are padding their pockets and planting enemy combatants among us. The “politically correct” are making money. They could care less if Americans are slaughtered.
