Democrats make significant gains in (VA) House of Delegates contests
Richmond Times Dispatch ^ | 7 Nov | Michael Martz

Democrats appeared poised to make huge gains in the Republican-controlled House of Delegates — and potentially take control of the chamber for the first time in 18 years — as strong voter turnout put a slew of GOP incumbents in danger of losing their seats.

The biggest upsets occurred early in Northern Virginia, where Democrat Danica Roem became the first transgender person elected to the House of Delegates, defeating social conservative Del. Robert G. Marshall, R-Prince William, and Democrat Lee Carter shocked House Republican Whip Jackson H. Miller, R-Manassas, despite tepid support from his own party.

Exactly correct.

And as usual many, many Republican voters and conservative voters acted content with last year’s elections.

So often we see it happen and unless we put a sustained effort into politics we will continue to lose control after winning elections.

The in one and won and now done...we have to put a stop to it. We’re not the best community organizers and this is how it shows in losing sweeping off year elections.

The media now will tout this as a referendum against Trump. We have got to do better!

Proof once again McConnell/Rove candidates are unelectable.

Think Michael Vick and Alan Iverson.

Newport News became a majority minority city back in 2015 with blacks and Hispanics making up over 50% of the population.

Portsmouth and Norfolk are over 50% black on a stand alone basis.

VA Beach is still solid GOP ground at 65% white.

The gap in Fairfax alone wipes out the margin in the rest of the state.

Miseducated people easily fall for the Big Lie. It is little wonder how Naziism took hold of Germany.

Amazing. 0bama was the first Democrat to carry VA since 1964. Then 0bama was a disaster, but VA is not going back. Its deep blue now.

My gut tells me there was HUGE VOTER FRAUD yesterday.

This needs to be investigated.

The area where that transexual won I am pretty sure is very conservative. Moreover, the transsexual seemed very surprised he or she won?

Again I strongly suspect voter fraud.

VA took it back for the CW.

MD’s territory is the only part that still exists as D.C.

There is no way to avoid this problem. Location doesn’t matter. DC will still be DC, even in the prairie. Your only hope would be that requirement to live there. But parasites of it would still infect around the area.

“Holy crap our side are a bunch of girls and doom a gloomers.”

This is the usual drivel we get from the RINO subversives, Soros trolls, hand-wringers and surrender monkeys who infest FR.

Republicans still completely control 26 states, while the rats control 11 states. In a number of states, not a single rat holds an elected statewide office. More than 1,000 rats have lost elections, either in states or in federal contests, nationwide to republicans since 2010.

If R’s can completely control 12 more states, that’s enough for an Article 5 convention and enough to ram through Amendments.

I suspect we are getting down to this as our last recourse to right the ship. After that, we get into less desirable outcomes.
