Dropping out of the race is certainly one of them.

Lots we don’t know as the truth at this time. But if he does drop out then what is the
implications for the Dec. 12, 2017 election. Can he be replaced or does the election
go to the democrat?

It goes to the Democrat.
Highly unlikely for any other outcome.

I don't know what Tennessee's laws about candidates are, but I can't conceive of any way in which one candidate is automatically handed an open Senate seat because his/her opponent dropped out of the race. Elections are meant to be voted on - I assume the Republican Party would field another candidate for the election.

McCain and McConnell are both brain dead zombies. If Moore drops out now, he admits guilt. The stupid party strikes again. They just want him to lose, apparently.
