Probably to make the most out of "the seriousness of the charge". That's why it's been such a large coordinated effort. The DC swamp does not want another outsider.

To preemptively taint Moore and any other Trump nationalist. Think how long D-day preparations took before the invasion. The GOPe understands the trends and is preparing its defense.

It's actually pretty clever. I mean, the uni-party swamp dwellers don't have any real useful, productive skills. Rather, their entire orientation is more similar to GoT. My guess is a lot of planning went into this campaign. Look how seamless the coordination of withdrawn support and pre-written editorials were launched.

Moore will be in the Senate, but it will be very interesting to see what Turtle has up his sleeve to prevent/frustrate his participation. So too any other freedom fighters who make it to DC; they should all be prepared to receive the Trump/Moore treatment.
