Guess that all depends on what you consider inappropriate. Monica and Bill prolly qualify on all three.
It means that at the time,1979, 14 year olds courted and married men in Alabama legally. It was the age of consent. IF she even knew the Judge is debatable, but marriage at that age would have needed her parent’s permission. Courting most likely would have involved a chaperone.
The 21st century, as immoral as it is,makes those relationships to be dirty. As someone said we cannot look at those times through our 2017 prism.
