Senate Republicans face a dire reality in Alabama following sexual misconduct accusations about Roy Moore, their Senate nominee in Alabama: They want Moore gone from the race but are largely powerless to make that happen.

“Woman claims reporter offered her thousands of dollars to claim he molested her”....

Pretty stupid if you ask me. Surprised the woman didn’t first ask, “How much money do you have?”

“The real question with regards to Moore’s election is how is this playing with the Alabama voters.”

Voters in Alabama don’t like being lectured on morality by outside agitators and haven’t liked it for more than a half century if you get my drift.

Will the US Senate then try to expel him? Would they even hold hearings on the matter?

Nothing would please me more than to see the Senate, a body filled with drunks, Alzheimer patients and dying degenerates, hold hearings to expel Judge Moore. A PPV broadcast would make millions!

We are not even sure, at this point, that there WAS sexual misconduct. Recall that Alabama, like Washington, DC, has an age of consent for females of sixteen years of age.

Events that took place some forty years ago tend to blur somewhat, and there is no definitive clarification that the female who claimed to be fourteen years old at the time was, in fact, only fourteen and not already of the “age of consent”. And fourteen-year-old girls have been known to lie about their age, so it may have been a “honey-pot” thing, the prospective suitor taking the person at her word.

In any event, things happening in the past cannot be undone, only reassessed in the light of current information. Was a crime committed? I do not know, but since in all the years that Roy Moore has been heartily hated and despised by a certain small segment of the Alabama voters (he was removed from the Alabama Supreme Court, not once, but TWICE), this particular offense had not once ever been alluded to previously, but “conveniently” brought up just as a major offensive against his election to the US Senate had been mounted, makes one think the whole charge is fabricated, and unworthy of legitimate political discourse.

You’re conflating two of the women whose stories the WaPo purposely conflated to give weight to their thin gruel. The woman who has now accused Judge Moore of inappropriate behavior when she was 14 is not an ex-Clinton/Biden campaign worker.

The Clinton/Biden aide is one of the then-older (16-18) girls who claim to have dated the 30-something Moore but do not claim any inappropriate sexual behavior. They are written about to show Moore liked younger girls, and to achieve the effect of his acting inappropriately with those younger girls although no such behavior is charged by other than the one who was 14.

No one believes the fake legacy news media.

So you really think the Senate Republicans are looking forward to serving with Senator Moore and plan on welcoming him with enthusiasm?

They had a once devout Klansman in their midst and did nothing about it.

Moore and the Alabama News Media. Here are links to a couple of Alabama news
outlets. They are carrying various stories both local and national on the Moore story.

Thanks. That would be my guess and what you read here may not be the
ground level response among the local voters. JMO

And really, even if he did go out on a date with her, even SHE does not claim that he had sex with her, or even attempted to. So, it’s a big nothingburger.

Every syllable of that story reeks of desperation, specifically on the part of the Republican swamp.

Should they hold a hearing, then we dredge up all there is on all rat senators (we know there’s a lot), and get it all on the web, heavy. Make it a large group activity.

I just hope Roy will quit playing defense and start on the offense. This is the RNC swamp attack. They hat what he represents. He MUST start attacking them as liars - dont even engage a discussion about whether this is true - shoot it down immediately as a lie spread on purpose because the swamp is afraid of his ability to take away their power.

He needs to start NOW. No more playing defense. His interview on Hamnity was a joke. Who prepared him for this? The Alinskyites in the RNC you know are laughing their butts off seeing how he is handling this.

Dont play their game - start going on the attack!!!!!!!!!!

With regard to that poll out today showing Moore tied:
Have a look at the poll’s internals:
People with college degree or higher composed 54% of respondents.
They later break down the vote according to education and Moore polls the lowest amongst that group, being down 8 points.
With HS education respondents he is up 10 points
With trade school respondents he is up 9 points.
With no HS respondents he is tied.
Fake Poll

Your argument is about justifying an action that could of taken place. This is the wrong response - that puts him on the defense.

Roy needs to go on the attack - these are outright lies spread by the swamp (aka RNC and MSM).

Nothing else needs to be said, period.

You dont play by their Alinsky rules you make them play by them.

I listened to the hannity audio link and all I hear was someone who has been unjustly smeared and tries to honestly respond to Hannity’s questions without using rehearsed answers. I was taken-aback by how Hannity treats the charges as true and never says “alleged” or “reported.”

Why do you want to believe the smear?
