Moore Fumbles Defense on Appearance with Hannity
PJ Media ^ | 11/11/17

Posted on 11/11/2017 11:14:00 AM PST by Liberty7732

Sean Hannity was the friendliest possible interviewer that Roy Moore could have chosen to defend himself from accusations that he fondled a 14-year-old girl. Despite the host teeing up softballs for him, Moore flubbed his chance to put the controversy to rest, failing to completely deny dating teenage girls when in his 30s and claiming forgetfulness when trying to deny specific allegations.

The money quote:

"Let me ask you this, you do remember these girls? Would it be unusual for you as a 32-year-old guy to have dated a woman as young as 17? That would be a 15-year difference... or a girl 18. Do you remember dating girls that young at that time?" Hannity asked. "Not generally, no," Moore answered. "If did, you know, I'm not going to dispute anything but I don't remember anything like that."

Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. I’m for Moore politically. I don’t want a Dem Senator.

He said he remembers his friendship with her. He has no recollection if he dated and kissed her. Do you get it? He didn’t say he did not date or kiss her. He didn’t say he did (which was legal so nothing wrong with admitting that). He lied and said he didn’t remember.

Politically I’m on his side. But him lying about something innocent makes me uneasy about the other accusations. I was a young teen victim myself once. As long as there is no proof he knew the 14 year old, I’m ok.

“Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.”

Just remember: if by word or deed you help to elect a Democrat to the senate, you are helping to throw a lot more unborn babies down the drain.

Think about that.

I don’t know if he’s guilty but he sure didn’t help his case.

“As has been pointed out on twitter, in the US we put the $ in front of numbers - $1000 not 1000$.”

I think you are wrong here.

Two things.

1) the quotes that I posted here are from Doug Lewis, you describe a David Lewis

2) The quote from Doug Lewis on twitter is: “A family friend who lives in Alabama just told my wife that a WAPO reporter named Beth offered her 1000$ to accuse Roy Moore????” Here, if the offer was exactly $1000, then yes, the $ should be in front; but if the quote was for multiple thousands of dollars, then I might place the $ after 1000. Shorthand for plural 1000$.

There was “0” expectation of a future of any kind with this person. They were NOT dates.

If they were not dates - then what were they?

"Zero" expectations?!

Why else would a 30plus-year-old man invite a young teenage girl to lunch? To discuss Sartre?

Regards,

And then there’s Roman Polanski who drugged and raped a 13-year-old, and is highly venerated by the left-wing loonies.

Democrats are the party of criminals... Of course there's a double standard they - (and their shills in the press) make phony 'standards'...

The Women that claimed he undressed her and fondled her at 14, is a 3xBankrupted 3XDivorced 3XAccused Pastors..and a hard core Democrat.

This info needs to get out to the people of Alabama. It needs to get out in ads in newspapers. This is extremely relevant.

No, your Honor, I don’t recall ever asking a teenaged Alabama girl for a date when I was 32.

But on the other hand, I clearly recall that if I DID ask them out, I always asked their mothers for permission.

My memory is not what it used to be but I can assure you I never asked out or made out with any high school girls when I was 32. I am 100% sure of that.

If Roy didn’t ask out or date high school girls then, it’s no one’s fault that he didn’t slam the door closed. If he’s not sure, how can anyone say his accusers are wrong?

Tut, tut. We don’t need oxymorons around here, at least, not in my humble opinion.

Roy Moore doesn’t have to prove anything. It’s on the accusers.

Gingrich on Hannity just said Roy Moore has to convince the people of Alabama. “The burden is on Roy Moore to prove his case.”

Bullshit!

PJ Media is solidly anti-christian in its agenda.

Just check their history here.

My wife is almost 19 years younger than I am, and I didn’t chase after her, although every other guy in the office did.

Stereotypes just don’t hold much water.
