Who’s afraid of the Clintons? Not Donna Brazile.
The explosive book by the former head of the Democratic National Committee is rocking the political world with its tales of Hillary Clinton’s brazen corruption and tawdry deceits. To add extra punch to her insider’s account, Brazile is telling interviewers that Clinton’s 2016 campaign was “sterile” and a “cult,” and mocking it as sexless and joyless.
She even writes that she considered trying to replace Clinton as the nominee over health concerns after the candidate collapsed at the 9/11 anniversary ceremony, a fact that demolishes the myth that suspicions about Clinton’s condition were the sole province of conservative partisans.
To say the Clinton camp is furious at what they regard as betrayal doesn’t do justice to their outrage. They are attacking Brazile personally, accusing her of telling outright lies just to sell books.
Which is mighty rich when you consider the history of the Clintons.
Still, you can’t blame their distress because the stakes are huge. If it sticks, Brazile’s searing indictment of Hillary’s persona, ethics and political skills could prove fatal to her hopes for a 2020 comeback.
In fact, I believe that is the ultimate point of the book: to clear the Democratic decks for desperately needed new leadership and messages.
It’s easier said than done because Clinton’s comeback plan is not as crazy as it sounds. Until a new challenger comes along to knock her off the party pedestal, she remains the default Democrat.

That would be a big “three-fer.”
Her arrogance is petrified. She will suck all the oxygen out of the room, every time. She will not be upstaged. And she will bobble-held her way to disaster.
You mean continue the democrat’s war on women? Putting The Mooch in second place? Sending the Negro to the back of the bus? Not in this day and age, it can only be Moochie for Prez., and her royal subjects.
Hillary was a terrible candidate with little charisma, no ability to come up with new ideas and an attitude she was anointed to be president. In 2008 she was beaten to the nomination by an obscure junior Senator from Illinois who preached a hollow message of hope and change, but who could excite crowds. In 2016 she was being defeated by a doddering socialist who promised a Santa Claus government with free everything and only succeeded in getting the nomination by stealing it.
The energy required to run a presidential campaign is incredible, and even in the last one Hillary would disappear for days, doing nothing but recuperating.
If she is still alive and runs for 2020, she’ll only be on the campaign trail 1 day out of 4 or 5, and will look so horrible she will not have a chance.
I cannot believe the Dems would be so stupid to run her again. It would be suicidal. But then - they are stupid.......
Her bad health along with her bad character will ruin her 2020 run.
I wish she would run again! Her or Kerry! The photo montages would be hysterical! Hillary would be a coherent as San Fran Nan by then!
I wouldn’t be throwing dirt on Clinton’s face too quickly. I am old enough to remember when they “buried” Dick Nixon after he lost his comeback bid for CA Governor.

Not sure about this. Donna's book may be her best insurance against getting swept up and going to jail, or worse.
With any luck, she will be fighting to get out from under her cellmate by then.

I never believed she’d run again, primarily because of her health/age but also because no donors would support her. She is now a 2-time loser (against Obama and Trump).

and none of her lies, misdeeds or criminal acts suddenly go poof a second time around.
