McConnell: If Moore wins, he'll "immediately" face Ethics Committee
Axios ^ | 11/14/2017 | Erica Pandy

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that if Alabama's Senate candidate Roy Moore wins, he'll face an ethics investigation immediately after he's sworn into office. "It would be a rather unusual beginning," McConnell said, speaking at a Wall Street Journal event.

"I'd like to save the seat, and it's a heck of a dilemma when you've got a completely unacceptable candidate bearing the label of your party within a month of the election," he added.

McConnell is one of several Republicans who have called for Moore to step aside. He has also spoken with President Trump and Vice President Pence about the allegations against the candidate, but Trump has yet to take a public stance on the issue.

TOP TEN REASONS -
“McCONNELL CONCEDES TO ROY MOORE”

McConnell blinked. No more banishment. No rejection.

10) Roy Moore now has his OWN campaign funds.

9) Siding with floozies, liars, & forgeries is a poor strategy.

8) McConnell blinked first because McConnell must first face his own touchy teenie charges.

7) He saw Roy's positive election poll numbers.

6) He must give up his speakership to Roy Moore. Better start kissing Moore's hindy early.

5) Pissing off the entire State of Alabama, they might just all come and golden shower in Mitch's morning corn flakes.

4) McConnell hating good Christians is a poor political strategy.

3) Blue ink is a lighter color than Black ink.

2) Cheapskate Gloria Allred should have offered future slanderers, $2 million dollars apiece.

And the TOP TEN reason, Mitch McConnell concedes to Roy Moore ...

1) Roy Moore is a Winner. And Winners Win!

> “Mitch McConnell spent $30 million of GOP donor money to stop Roy Moore ...”

McConnell likewise spent about $30 million of GOP PAC money funds to stop Chris McDaniel in 2014.

I’ve heard equally valid rumors that Mitch had sex with roadkill deer while wearing a Bigfoot outfit.

Steve Bannon said he was going to release the dirt on McConnell's very short time in the military. Some Freepers have posted items that The Turtle was caught buggering some guy.

If this is true I really hope Bannon comes through and shows the hard evidence. The Dems and leftists like McConnell seem to be able to come up with all sorts of real documents (not the fake stuff like Allred has now) via nefarious means and I hope we can finally play their game and get the goods on them.

I really angers me that the Dems can do this stuff but all we conservatives get are people in the media and politics who are supposedly on our side promising things but never come through.

First post. Please excuse me if I mess it up.

Judge Roy Moore: The Salem Witch Trials meets Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

In 1682, the outrageous and proof-less accusations of three hysterical girls led to the executions of 20 innocent men and women charged with witchcraft. No proof from anyone, but the leaders cried, “If they said it, it must be true. They wouldn’t lie!”

“Sentence first—verdict afterwards,” said the Queen in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Apparently that’s now how we do things in the U.S.

Too many errors. Most artists could do a better job. Look at the lead-in slant on the M’s. Note the loop in the h of Mitch. The C is too low and the C does not match. Note how the C in Mc is attached to the c in Connell, not separate. The final l in Connell is equally tall in the copy but lower in the original. Other differences too.

Would suggest he try again. Your idea is sound, however. Forgery is definitely likely.

I heard he used a dodgy medical issue to cut short his military service and that’s not fake news. Some needs to dig up the facts, pronto.

From some sources Mitch was buggering another man. A couple of days ago Steve Bannon said he had the dirt and was going to make it public soon. I hope Bannon is just getting it verified before release and gets it out soon.

The only thing good I can say about Mitch McConnell is that the highways in Kentucky are very nice, and I’m sure that’s due to McConnell bringing home the money.

The highways in West Virginia were all near-perfect while Robert Byrd was a Senator. Heck, a good portion of the Government was transferred out there too.

There is something more then a little weird about this.

Roy Moore would be the junior senator from Alabama and would be in office less then two years before having to run for reelection.

It is hard to imagine a more powerless senator and yet they are hysterical to keep him from being seated.

You would think he was going to be Chief Justice of the Supreme Court from the way they are acting.

None of this makes sense.

Even if we accept that premise that they believe every word that has been said against him it STILL does not warrant this kind of over reaction. They have had murderers, rapists, thieves, traitors, heck every crime except maybe piracy on the high seas and I would not rule that out. None of this every bothered them, they continued to address them as "my esteemed college and good friend" so why are they going totally insane in this case?

Is it just that they can not stand having to seat someone they did not hand pick?

If so they should all be removed and locked up for mental health reasons.

Or is it something else?

If Senator Robert Menendez (Democrat-NJ) returns to the U.S. Senate after an expected hung jury in his trial, will McConnell demand another ethics hearing?

I doubt it.

Good analogy. Sentence first, verdict afterward

The water test for witches—If they floated, they were a witch and were burned at the stake, if they sank and drowned they were innocent.

Judge Moore, you have 24 hours to prove a negative or prove the unprovable otherwise you’re finished. Guilty. /rolleyes

I’ve heard that Mitch’s medical discharge was in actuality a discharge for homosexual misconduct. A powerful politician covered up the lewd incident.

When does Mitch face an ethics committee?

It Moore’s dogged refusal to accept Homosexuality as good and desirable. Look in that direction if seeking reason’s why.

Swamp rat shaking in his boots. Combination crybaby and bully. McConnell and his ilk are scared to death of Moore. The writing’s on the wall, rats, and you’re days in power are coming to an end. You have been weighed in the balance, and found lacking!
