A qualified chemist should be able to examine the ink and determine it’s makeup and compare with modern examples vs 40 years ago. My guess is that for people with the correct knowledge and expertise, this should be a slam dunk. Likely, someone else will understand this, get the essage to Allred, whose response will be to deny access to testing it.

Exactly, that is why she said she would only allow examination when he testifies in front of the Senate. She knows that will not happen. The Senate will not hear such a dispute.

The only way for the Alabama GOP to respond is to have the Republican governor postpone or call off the election. We control the seat now with Luther Strange. Why take a chance on losing it? Allred’s refusal to allow forensic examination is reason enough to do it.
