It’s not ignorance or even stupidity here… but pure old fashioned FEAR of the mob. As with most totalitarian mobs, to vary from the “party line” collective is to court trouble. I recall a story on brainwashing in Soviet Union… where the interrogator would hold up a red card to the prisoner and demand it be called green… the purpose not being the truth, but submission. The purpose is the prisoner must obediently declare as TRUE what they know is FALSE or face punishment. The PeeCee Fascists don’t care if anyone really believes there’s a gazillion “genders” or any other lie they promote… just that ALL obediently declared it “fact”. Then you are broken and under their control! Also... such PeeCee “truth” is always subject to change... so you may be forced to proclaim the exact opposite of what was “truth” yesterday... today, without questioning! Such is brainwashing! Totalitarian control is to never allow anyone to relax... always under siege! Orwell knew it well!
