I would also take into consideration, who his client base is. They probably tend to be the kinds of folks who don’t like Trump....so he has to play to them.
I don’t think it’s the same situation that Michael Jordan has, like when he said, “Republicans buy shoes too.” I don’t think you’re seeing a lot of Republicans buying this guy’s stuff.

Whether Trump achieved the release or not, it’s very clear he raised the issue at the highest level of government.
