Former IRS executive Lois G. Lerner told a federal court last week that members of her family, including “young children,” face death threats and a real risk of physical harm if her explanation of the tea party targeting scandal becomes public.

Her proposal is acceptable - her freedom in exchange for sealing of the testimony.
She didn’t help herself by coming across as an arrogant, untouchable bureaucrat during her testimony.
Put them both in protective custody ... federal prison.

So, what has Lerner admitted that we don’t already know about? Must be horrendous. Her desire to hide her testimony (to say “hide the truth” would put optimism over experience) is the best possible argument for publishing it.
Lerner is a pos.
Should be in prison for a variety of charges.

The Left makes all the death threats. Their real concern should be where to find decorating tips for an 8 x 10 cell (in the unlikelihood actual justice ever catches up with them).
If this is true then she should be charged, plead guilty, and go to a nice safe prison.
Good, she needs to fear for her life. And all the rest of her ilk at the IRS.

She should never feel safe, for even a minute, again.

I think providing ms Lerner a one way ticket to the leftest paradise of Venezuela would be appropriate. She’d be safe there.
And she’d get to enjoy the benefits of rights suppression that she so admires.
