FR’s Larry Schweikart mentioned this on his Twitter feed a couple hours ago. That’s the good news. The bad news is that his replacement will be just as moonbat (13% Trump district, though given the epic voter fraud, we’ll never know the real figure), but probably lesser-known. At least Luis is a well known lightning-rod to rally the straights against.

Probably gonna be Puerto Rico vs. Mexico in a battle royale in the primary. I’d rather keep Luis than see my State Rep. Cynthia Soto get the gig.
I wish we had a “blanket primary” like they used to have in CA before the courts got rid of it.

This is the guy that ran against Rahm for Mayor. The one that’s so bad that I HAD TO VOTE FOR RAHM EVEN THOUGH I’D SOONER DRINK PAINT THINNER THAN VOTE FOR THAT SOB!
At least one Republican, Richard Gonzalez, is running, in that race. Fred White (the most conservative candidate for Chicago mayor in 2011) lives in that district. I emailed him and asked him to run.
I just found that Gonzalez is running as a Democrat. No Republican is in that race, yet. I thought that he was probably a Republican because he and I have 69 mutual facebook friends, including Bill Brady, Steve Kim, David Harris, Chris Nybo, and Randy Ramey.
Given how the district is one of the most heavily Democrat CDs in the state (heck, in the country), probably the best you could hope for there is that this Richard Gonzalez somehow wins the RAT primary, which is tantamount to winning the general. If he’s a conservative (or at least a moderate) running as a Democrat because it would be futile to run as anything else in that district, it would behoove Republicans in the district to register as Democrats and vote for Gonzalez. Then again, if they did so they wouldn’t be able to vote on the GOP gubernatorial primary, so there woukd be a trade-off.
Richard’s facebook profile states, “Political views: Center.” In Illinois, no one chooses a party, when they register to vote. Maybe, some Republicans should request democrat ballots, during the primary. Then, they could vote for the democrat governor candidate who would be weakest in Nov.
Another candidate running Alderman Carlos Ramirez-Rosa, who was kicked off the farthest left gubernatorial candidates’ ticket for being anti-Semitic.
So him vs. Chuy, oy, oy, oy, oy.

Another rat primary, Bob Fioretti is running against Prickwankle for County Board President. Apparently on an anti-tax platform. My mom’s friend (a conservative priest) went to a fundraiser for him, they were all calling Prickwankle a man.
I’m tempted, but vote in the rat primary.......I don’t think I can do it. Even if there weren’t any primaries on the R side, I don’t know. All you have to do is ask for the rat ballot but I feel dirty even thinking about it.
Unless you can get a Republican into an office or even anything resembling a Conservative on the Dem side, go with the biggest, craziest, bat$hit Commie, because they’ll benefit the GOP. Sounds like Carlos Ramirez-Rosa is the “won.” ;-D
It’s almost amazing Lipinski the lesser is still there in the 3rd, never even been seriously primaryed.

There has never been a GOP primary for the seat before, if at least 2 don’t get kicked off the ballot, there will be. That would be neat.
