I don’t go that large. I place the number at less than 20%. We have to remember that the Nazi media megaphone inflates the actual number of leftists.
The last time we had a street rumble vs the leftists (tea party against the fat SEIU pigs), they were out-manned 10 to 1. We learned that fat, leftist slobs can sure run fast when confronted

We would agree that the most rabid among them might be around 5-15%. However, a good percentage of the rest of them seem to be prone to become rabid and shrill at the drop of a hat. Certainly some are cowardly and not prone to speaking up even though they agree with the rabid folks.
There are some old codgers--about 15 or so out of 75 or so in a particular art discipline. The old codgers are probably 60-70% conservatives. The others are rabid liberal idiots. The young kids just out of high school etc. are overwhelmingly liberal. Maybe 5-15% of them are conservative. And, again--5-15% of the liberals among them are prone to being shrill as well as uninformed.
