Ghost Guns are a real thing, but criminals don’t build these from kits.
These guns are made in the third world and smuggled in.
The amount of effort to make your own gun makes it much cheaper to just buy one of these ghost guns off the black market and none of these are made with these kits.

Not trying to be argumentative but, Kevin Janson Neal, the Tehama County Norcal shooter had 2 homemade AR’s which altho they don’t come out and specifically say it implies a 80% lower assembly.

Before anyone gets the wrong idea I am not a gun control grabber. The gun wasn’t the issue in this case his mental state was. He put out more than enough signals to detain and having his place searched and all firearms confiscated.
They could admit the technology is out there, and cannot be put back in a bottle.
But...no they intend to go down the Soviet road, where even typwriters were registered and tightly controlled.
Cannot have the people with too much knowledge or ability ... it is dangerous to tyrants!
In Africa, Pakistan, India, the Phillipenes.. They make automatic weapons with files simple drills, and blacksmith tools.
Well, I guess one is an ‘increase’ over none.
