Rep. Raul M. Grijalva quietly arranged a “severance package” in 2015 for one of his top staffers who threatened a lawsuit claiming the Arizona Democrat was frequently drunk and created a hostile workplace environment, revealing yet another way that lawmakers can use taxpayer dollars to hide their misbehavior on Capitol Hill.

So that explains it.

I thought Grijalva was just another liberal idiot. Now we know he is a drunken liberal idiot.

Are there enough chemical to completely fumigate the Congressional office buildings.

Drunk, disorderly, walking around in your underwear. Is this Congress or a bad remake of Animal House?

Good summary. I added one word that was missing, hostile!

I thought Grijalva was just another liberal idiot. Now, we know he is a hostile drunken liberal idiot.

Mexico’s most effective member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
He has immunity, right?
Just like illegal aliens?

I live in his district. He has opposed mining projects that will provide hundreds of high paying jobs. He has a history of drunken behavior and domestic abuse but the local police cover for him. He helped destroyed the local school system while on the school board and did nothing to help the local taxpayers while on the county board of supervisors.

We can’t get rid of him because of gerrymandering and the GOP is unwilling to fund an opponent against him.

I recall a story about a gentleman writing to his congress critter:

Are you ALL drunk ALL the time?

Because the GOP (Trump excepted) wants Mexico’s most effective member of the House to stay.
What is paramount to most of the GOP is protecting the demographic changes they have made to the country against the will of the citizens through non-enforcement of laws and borders.
The Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) is what drives them.

A radical environmentalist, La Raza and progressive, Raul will not be missed. He repeatedly tried to eliminate the mining and oil industries.

Congress is about to declare their property a sanctuary state.

He also advocated boycotting Arizona, his own state, over SB 1070. Lately he participated in a lawsuit jointly with the government of mexico, to stop any work on President Trump’s wall.

My adopted home state of AZ is getting a bad rap with these swamp creatures. WHY do we keep sending the likes of McStain, Flake and Grijalva to represent us?????

"The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. Consequently, anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall when the proceedings ended in order to learn what had been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately. A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.” (Benjamin Franklin)

I’m not surprised that Raul Grijalva as a drinking problem. He dresses and looks like a hobo that sleeps on a park bench. He is a true slob. Having lived in Arizona for over 30 years I’ve had plenty of chances to see that idiot over and over again dressed like a bum and looking like he didn’t know what soap was.
