Everybody has inappropriate thoughts of some kind or another. The sensible person dismisses them and does not allow them to unduly affect his life. He need not feel guilty about them. He merely needs to not act on them. Do not allow weaponized empathy to hijack your brain and make you feel guilty for bad thoughts (some of which aren’t even bad in any objective sense – they are just un-PC). Do not fall into the trap of bigotry as the Ultimate Sin ™. And certainly there is no need to submit to Progressives so that they may conduct intercession for you or grant you a temporary, revocable license as a non-bigot.

The notion that bigotry, racism and prejudice are the worst of all human traits is an absurdity peddled by the left, and from which they conveniently exempt themselves.
The problem comes with a combination of that and distorted definitions of what they are.

They like to constantly change the definitions of “bigotry.” Remember when you were a young, there was always that other kid in the neighborhood who liked to change the rules in any game or sport. Always to make it so they would win. Liberals are that kid.
There is an ultimate sin, a sin which Jesus said men will not be forgive for. I won’t mention it because it drives people of tender conscience rather crazy.

Try telling that to millions who were stomped under the feet of the enemy. Because if they have any hint of intolerance to those who tortured, killed or enslaved them then that makes these victims evil?
I admit to having some bigotry - not total, just a whiff, and it has kept me alive. Some bigotry is necessary in order to resist being assaulted as a victim. I've been beaten and assaulted by black punks. I also have many black friends. I don't consider myself a racist, as I've helped many black people. But I'm wary of the ones who would seek to do me harm.
Bigotry does have gradations, and those who have a hint of intolerance may have very valid reasons for it. The world is a dangerous place for those who think all others are to be trusted and will never do you harm. Better to foster some intolerance and be wary in order to survive to live another day.
Generalizations are useful when they are generally true, that is, when their opposite would be ridiculous. Sensible persons admit exceptions to generalizations without difficulty.
If I looked a lot like folks who often caused trouble of some sort, I would grudgingly accept a bit more scrutiny pending hopefully shaking up some of them folks.

I can literally name 1,000 things a minute worse than bigotry, ESPECIALLY the way the nuts on the Left define it.

Ha ha...spend some time is Asia. The Japanese are some of the worst racists out there. As are the Koreans and Chinks (oops). They despise blacks.
They only tolerate whites because of our military experiences in that part of the world.
That is so that they can, like Jesse Jackson, that their heart is in the right place.
Bigotry based on BEHAVIOR is self-preservation. Unfortunately, when a substantial number of a particular demographic display aberrant behavior, the good are tarred with the bad.
