Maybe he really had a cure/treatment and some pharmaceutical firm decide that the cost of a hit was less than the cost of the cure.
Too much money in treating it. Cure it and lots of money would be gone. You don’t mess with big pharma money. Just sayin’.
Or maybe he lied about it and committed suicide rather than be embarrassed by the truth. Conspiracy theorizing can cut both ways.
I’ve read lately of people mysteriously dying who preach a natural approach and speak out against the big pharmas and the meds. that are prescribed.
Big Pharma don’t allow no cures. What would they do with all that useless expensive chemo they have laying around?

I’ve often wondered if a cure for cancer was made years ago but kept quiet because of Big Pharma, doctors and hospitals. Their lifestyles especially in the upper echelons could see a change in what they’ve been accustomed to. IMHO!!
Breakthroughs rarely, if ever, occur in just one place and by just one person. People build upon work done by others. Consider Newton and Leibniz and their simultaneous development of calculus. Or how Einstein built upon Maxwell.
In the case of a medical researcher there would be reams of data, lab books, discussion with others in the field who are pursuing a similar goal. Not as much fun as a juicy conspiracy tale.
