A German court has sentenced an 89-year-old woman to 14 months in prison for Holocaust denial.
Ursula Haverbeck, dubbed the "Nazi Grandma", has been convicted several times but is yet to spend time in jail.
She was first given a jail term last year but received additional punishment for handing out pamphlets repeating her beliefs to those attending court.

She is an evil old lady. She does promote hate speech. She has been prosecuted under German law for this. She has been sent to jail for this.
In Germany are thousands and thousands of radical Muslims that promote hate speech in word and deed. Why in the hell are they not in jail also?
Actually I do not think either belong in jail unless they commit a crime and speech is not a crime in a free society.
You may not like what someone says but in a true free society speech is not a crime. Germany is not a free society as is the same with most of Western Europe.
Every society has their share of Mad Maxine type individuals.
This elderly lady is probably enjoying the attention, so what if it’s from those horrified or enraged by what she’s saying?
She may feel she has nothing to lose. She’s beaming with a distorted sense of being newly important.
Better to ignore her. If that means changing the law to something more realistic when dealing with the extremely old, then so be it.
Would they really convict and jail someone in the throes of Alzheimers who made these statements?
Exactly.
Old Nazis never die. They just smell that way.
It’s a shame that she and her husband survived the war when so many other decent people didn’t (at the hands of her kind).

How is she any different than the Paper Clippers who got us to the moon or were brought in to create and organize the CIA? Unrepentant nazis, every stinking one of them.

It is quite amazing when you have the Prime Minister of Hungary saying the same thing in a major speech.
