House Speaker Paul D. Ryan said Thursday that Democrats squandered their ability to demand a so-called “DACA fix” as part of the year-end spending bill when their leaders refused to show up for a meeting with President Trump this week to conduct negotiations.
Mr. Ryan also rejected the year-end deadline Democrats have set up for granting citizenship to illegal immigrants, saying the phaseout for the Obama-era deportation amnesty runs through March, giving Congress until next year to figure out what to do.
He took a tough line on Democrats’ decision to ditch Mr. Trump in a bipartisan leaders meeting Tuesday, saying that if Democrats had been serious about wanting to protect illegal immigrant Dreamers, then they would have come to the meeting to defend them.

I wish Ivanka and all the others who have a “heart” for DACA “children” would have PRIORITY in their hearts for the millions of native born American citizens whose lives are being destroyed by the Open-Borders Globalists and their immoral allies such as the Chamber of Commerce.
The despair and hopelessness driving the “Opiate Epidemic” in middle class America is largely driven by the policies created by these Open-Borders Globalists and their paid-for politicians in the Washington Swamp. Ivanka and those like her are either blind to this despair and hopelessness or they just DON’T CARE and are therefore EVIL. Sometimes evil is masked by a pretty face and soft hands.
Totally unexpected. Are some of these RINOs finally getting a spine?
