Michael Flynn FBI plea deal opens pathway to Donald Trump: Judge Napolitano
Fox ^ | 12/1/17 | Julia Limitone

....The FBI’s evidence against the former general could put him in prison for 60 years, but making a plea deal could reduce his sentence to six to twelve months, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News senior judicial analyst, told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney.

Napolitano said Flynn may have shortened his sentence by offering federal prosecutors some kind of link to Trump or someone within the administration.

“Sometime between Monday and today, they reduced that deal to writing. [Flynn] has real evidence that we can really use to prosecute someone, perhaps the president, we don’t know, and in order to lock the general in they got him to plead guilty this morning,” Napolitano said on “Varney & Co.”

I think Trump’s position as CIC and the loyalty of the U.S. military will protect his presidency if any of this heads in the direction the criminals are shooting for.

All the homosexuals have it in for Trump. You can’t depend on anything Judge Napolitano says about Trump. The man is dingy when it comes to Trump, especially since he was reprimanded by Fox.

"But we’re 15 or 16 months into multiple investigations (FBI, congress, Mueller)"

That's the entire point to this dog-n-pony.

1. Weaken Trump & his administration so very little to nothing gets passed/done
and
2. Thus weaken the GOP so the dems take control of (at least) the Senate in 2018 and ultimately the Presidency in 2020 along with control in the House again.

Drag.....it.....out.

It is obvious the President’s pride is preventing him from correcting his error. (allowing Mueller to do as he pleases)

I thought I’d cross post this article clearing Flynn back in January of any wrong doing, which further puts an exclamation point on this Logan Act absurdity.

“FBI reviewed Flynn’s calls with Russian ambassador but found nothing illicit

Nobody makes general anymore without political connections. It looks to me like Flynn has been a crook for a long time. Who were his connections.

Judge Napolitano is as often wrong as right.

The Logan Act makes it criminal for any unauthorized citizen to negotiate with any foreign power against the interests of the USA.

Okay, let's assume all that you describe is true.

What part exactly was "against the interests of the USA?"

Michael Flynn is very close to Stanley McChrystal and has been for years.

Again, until the Supreme Court strikes it down, the Logan Act is the law of the land.

The Logan Act would be hard to prosecute, and Flynn is not charged with it’s violation.

Let’s not get distracted here.

Flynn lied to the FBI.

It was after the electoral college vote, which is what actually makes a person the president-elect. The swearing in ceremony is just that. A ceremony.

There is no violation of the Logan act.

Judge Napolitano has really gone off the reservation lately. I think that escalating laugh of his has blown part of his brain out of his mouth. The next we know it will blow off that glued on hairstyle he has.

You can say “again” all that you want, but your understanding of how the law works is misplaced. When you pass the bar come back and talk to me.

I’ve noticed that too. As a group it seems as if no one hates Trump more than the sodomites.

Russia agreed not to retaliate with sanctions, because Flynn asked them not to, before Trump was sworn in.

Again, Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI. Let’s not get lost in the weeds over the Logan Act, it is not in play.

A few years ago I went to a party at the Prime Minister of Belize’s residence. I actually spoke to him. I was at the time unauthorized to speak to him. Please, keep this between us here.

My lips are sealed.....;)

OK, am I wrong about the supremacy of the Supreme Court? Please educate me otherwise so that my understanding is not so misplaced.

Good grief, I didn’t know that you only accept comments from those that have “passed the bar”. Excuuuuuuse me (Steve Martin).

I’m surprised this guy Napolitanp ever had a legal career at all, based on the quality of some of the legal analysis he’s done on Fox over the years.

The Judge has been wrong on every prediction he's ever made. I don't doubt that he knows the law and the Constitution but he's just always wrong. He must have a great contract with FOX, otherwise I can't understand how he gets as much air time as he gets.
