Elizabeth Warren Ancestor Rounded Up Cherokees For Trail of Tears
Breitbart ^ | 8 May 2012 | Michael Patrick Leahy

Posted on 12/02/2017 9:28:17 AM PST by Mount Athos

For over a quarter of a century, Elizabeth Warren has described herself as a Native American.

After researching her story, it is obvious that her “family lore” is just fiction.

Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandfather, was apparently a member of the Tennessee Militia who rounded up Cherokees from their family homes in the Southeastern United States and herded them into government-built stockades in what was then called Ross’s Landing (now Chattanooga), Tennessee–the point of origin for the horrific Trail of Tears, which began in January, 1837.

These were the troops responsible for removing Cherokee families from homes they had lived in for generations in the three states that the Cherokee Nations had considered their homelands for centuries: Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

While these involuntary home removals were not characterized by widespread violence, the newly displaced Cherokee mothers, fathers, and children found an oppressive and sometimes brutal welcome when they finally arrived at the hastily constructed containment areas. An estimated 4,000 Cherokees were warehoused in Ross’s Landing stockades for months awaiting supplies and additional armed guards the Federal Government believed necessary to relocate them on foot to Oklahoma.

It is time for Ms. Warren to publicly acknowledge the truth of her ancestry. It is time for her to admit that she has no Native American heritage that she can prove; and it is time for her to acknowledge instead, that she is likely a direct descendant of a Tennessee Militiaman who apparently rounded up the ancestors of those who truly have Cherokee heritage, the first step in their forced removal from the Southeastern United States to Oklahoma over the long and tragic Trail of Tears.

> And then she pretended to be an Indian to steal money meant for Indians. <

That’s exactly right. It’s not that she just told an inaccurate story at some dinner party. She used her made-up heritage to get an advantage in the job market.

The funny part is that the famous 70’s ‘crying Indian’ was actually from my tribe: Italian.

We called him Chief Warren.

Manson’s mom was a kid when she had him

Some military guy was the sperm donor

Manson’s childhood no question made his wretched life and all that pain passed out to others

But what fascinates me most in a bad way was how easily these girls for the most part did his bidding

And men too like Tex and Bobbie

But the girls.....hippie chicks with butcher knives ain’t what folks pictured about hippie waifs pre Manson

To say folks were shocked by it is really true

Even though the diggers and Peter Coyote ceremoniously buried the hippie in late 1967 on Haight st it was Charles Manson who drive a stake into the heart of the whole benign innocence

Allegedly Manson mom banged men in the bed with little Charlie next to her

White trash meets new definition

“He’s Sicilian actually...”

Ahh, that explains all the crying. And the fake identity.

It is basically that without God, everything is permissible as Dostoevsky and Solzhenitsyn stated so brilliantly.

People who fall for the seduction into evil, were never embedded with virtue in their childhood. They didn’t have true loving role models so were looking for “love” in all the wrong places.

People with a void in their Soul, will fill it with whatever comes along like little Charlie. They also say his height was probably due to malnutrition when a kid. His mother was truly evil, but then she was the daughter of some evil parent or “parents”. Charlie’s “mom” tried to sell him when he was two for drugs, etc.

I have done a bit of research on this but still working on it. There were Cherokees named Smith in this area and time frame. There were also families with mixed blood. I know because I am related to one of them. In my case the Smith was white and his wife was Cherokee.

The person O. C. Sarah Smith who Warren claims is her cherokee ancestor descends from Jonathan Smith whose paternal ancestry through Wyatt Smith is Swedish. This is from research done by the Herrings who are directly related to Warren. However it possible that a wife of one of the Smith’s in that line married a Cherokee, e.g. perhaps Wyatt’s wife Peggy Smith, born 1770, may have been cherokee or part cherokee. But there is zero proof and I doubt they would even find any and census records before 1850 only listed heads of households.

Best case — Warren may have a small amount of cherokee, e.g. 1/64, 1/128th or less, and she has no proof. The fact she claimed she was a minority to aid her career based on the possibility of such a small amount of cherokee blood is a laughable.

Those kits are very unreliable. They are more like a toy. There is an article about identical triplets that took the test and the results came out differently for each of the three.

A slight discrepancy

The basics of the test showed that the three girls were, in fact, all 99% European, according to their DNA. So far, so identical. What became strange, however, was when their DNA was broken down even further. For example, Erica was found to be 16% Irish and British, whereas Nicole was 2% MORE Irish and British. How could this be? The results continued to come in, confusing the triplets, the doctors, and the audience.

Even bigger gaps

More results began coming in, which showed even bigger differences between some of the triplets and their supposed origins. The 23andMe test showed that all three of the triplets had completely different percentages of French and German heritage; Nicole at 11%, Jaclyn at 18% and Erica 22.3%. How could three siblings, with identical DNA, suddenly have different ancestry? The girls were clearly confused about the mixed results, as were The Doctors on the show. As different numbers flashed up, the audience gasped.

Not adding up

When it came to the Scandinavian part of the test, there were yet even more discrepancies. The triplets and experts were shocked to learn that while Erica and Jaclyn both had exactly the same percentage (7.4%), it was Nicole that had a different result. According to the test, Nicole was 11.4% Scandinavian, almost 4% more than her younger sisters. How could this be? Everyone watching was shocked to learn the sheer differences in the numbers.

It’s impossible

All three were unable to contain their shocked reactions when the results were discovered. Nicole admitted that she was surprised; after all, they came from the same egg and have the same DNA. The first test had proved that! Dr. Travis Stork, the host of The Doctors, had a few things to say about these kinds of tests too. He said these home-tests should only really be used for “entertainment” and not used as real evidence for your heritage.

Not 100% accurate?

Dr. Stork went on to say that the tests you get sent in the post are nowhere near advanced enough yet to be 100% accurate. He admitted there were always going to be some discrepancies in the results. While we may have come so far in the technology of genetic testing, he said, “you can’t just spit in a cup and have every single answer that you are looking for.” With Lisa Guerrero already being unsure of the at-home testing kits, did that mean the doctor and the journalist disapprove of them?
