Yeah!!
The area in question is a mosquito infested wasteland, nothing like the more attractive scenery to the South.

The drilling provision was seen as key to getting Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Alaska Republican, on board with the tax bill. Revenues from oil supplement Alaska's welfare system. Yes, this would be a big deal for any Alaskan Senator, even a RINO.

Dems have been blocking this for years. i remember when Bush was POTUS and the dems said it would take 10 years. They voted it down. We would be fully operational now if they allowed it years ago. Winning on many fronts.

To quote Bill...
It just doesn’t matter. Even if they get to hold an action for drilling rights..
A host of Greenie/Watermelon lawyers (Grenn on the outside Red on the inside) will line and - one one after another - file lawsuit after lawsuit to stop the drilling & maybe even drive the company wishing to do the drilling out of business.
Millions go to fight in court, and nothing gets drilled.
Green lawyer - it is an industry here in Alaska now, sad to say.
