Oh those secular liberalists. On the other hand I have to have some empathy even for them, because they often really don’t know what the sam hill they are doing.
Trying to TELL them what they are doing has some interesting consequences. One might be accused of any number of bizarre things. Oh you wickedly hate this, that, the other thing. Oh you follow such and such a cult. And so on.
But oh. The allergy to wholesome manhood (or womanhood) that can be thus bestowed is intense.
Family, parental dysfunctions can contribute to such allergies.
Famished nature will be avenged, however (hat tip to C. S. Lewis for that bon mot) and what he wouldn’t get through the ordinary means, he will get through “extraordinary means.” Which generally means some perversion.
The only real way to cut around that problem is to re-source one’s essence from God.
