Actually, The triumphal red carpet Trump trip to Riyadh where the Arab world was put on notice that the declarations of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the GCC and the USA meant great change in the region.

Trump was able to make the move because there was not the usual Arab opposition. In practical effect, the noted Arabs tossed the Palestinians under the bus.

Abbas knows that and can do nothing about it. It remains to be seen as to how he will accept or reject the change. Since he has no money he must accept the change or beg from Europe and Iran.

To understand, you must distinguish Arabs from Muslims.
