"As a former chief-of-staff, I cannot imagine what it'd like to serve a president who tweets in the morning," he said. "The whole purpose of the White House is to develop some discipline."

Hey Panchetta, as a former chief-of-staff, what was it like to serve a president who jerked off in the Oval Office sink in the morning? How did that develop discipline?

My response to Panetta:

A: The Presidency should be about leadership, not about advancing the current marketing message of a political party.
B: The President should be the one to “check” what his subordinates are saying, not the other way around.

Some alleged freepers will be happy, but look at the propagandized statement ABOUT a “quote”:

“We’d be a hell of a lot better off,” Panetta stated haughtily. He added that the president’s erratic Twitter habit “raises a little concern about stability.”

Leftist freaks and their god the Fraud politicized EVERYTHING.

It freaks out the deep state that they cannot control the message.

"You don't just roll a grenade in the room, have things blow up, then not have a strategy for how the hell you deal with it!"

Sometimes, tossing in a grenade, and seeing what the reaction is, is just the right thing to do.

“...and the consequences could be lives,”

He did not seem too much concerned with American lives when he tied their hands during battle with outrageous rules of engagements, that cost American soldiers their lives.

Messaging? Whatever the President says or tweets is the message.

Ask Panetta whether his lies about Benghazi were coordinated with Susan Rice; or maybe even if HE was the one who wrote and gave her those lies and had her go on five Sunday shows and lie her soul to a charcoal briquette?

Trump shook the DC tree to see what would fall out.
Lots of overripe fruit, creepy crawly bugs and rotten branches.
I'm having so much fun watching this.

I don’t think I’ll ever stop being amazed at Trump’s ability to get all the enemies out there to stand up and identify themselves.

I mean, they simply cannot help themselves. He exposed the entire rotten, disgusting underbelly of the GOP during his campaign. We knew it was there, but he got them to roll over and show it to the entire world. Every day, new people stand up and identify themselves as enemies in response to him. Our best psychological warfare experts couldn’t do it better.

It would make a fascinating psychology dissertation, except no one would ever be allowed to write it.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, those tweets were more controlled than most people realized. Good foreign relations (and military) strategies are different from strategies portrayed in movies and moronic Democrat diplomatic efforts.

Democrats and soft-in-the-head Republicans have previously and unwittingly turned more foreign nations against us by showing too much weakness and susceptibility to suggestions and threats. That’s why some of the new allies have shied away from previous administrations for lack of confidence in them.

Panetta seemed taken aback by Pompeo's answer.

Panetta has a hard time understanding simple things...

The Panetta Doctrine on Benghazi.

On Benghazi, Panetta Says Needed 'Advance Notice' of Surprise Attack for Timely Response

They had real-time onsite video, plus secured e-mail and were speaking with personnel at both compounds over at least two lines of radio transmission and cell phones. There were two drones overhead. All of that was live-streaming to the entire DoD-DC network of sit-rooms around the world including the White House.

Did Panetta expect al Qaeda to call in with GPS-camera phones and relay their plans and positions to him? Maybe we can air drop laser sighting tags throughout the Muslim world and ask them to all kindly affix one to the tops of their heads? With barcodes so we can target specific jihadis. Oh, and let's require that terrorists submit detailed plans of attacks to a committee for review at least six months in advance.

Panetta was not the worst of the Clinton/Obama cartel, but vet Pompeo is ten times the man Leon will ever be.
