Full title: Gregg Jarrett: How an FBI official with a political agenda corrupted both Mueller, Comey investigations

How is it possible that Hillary Clinton escaped criminal indictment for mishandling classified documents despite incriminating evidence that she violated the Espionage Act?

Why did Donald Trump become the target of a criminal investigation for allegedly conspiring with Russia to influence the presidential election despite no evidence that he ever did so?

The answer, it seems, comes down to one person who played a vital role in both cases: Peter Strzok, deputy director of counterintelligence at the FBI.

Strzok was exchanging politically charged texts with an FBI lawyer that denigrated Trump and lauded Clinton at the same time he was leading the bureau’s criminal investigation of Clinton. He is also the one who changed the critical wording of then-FBI Director James Comey’s description of Clinton’s handling of classified material that resulted in no charges being brought against her.

Then, Strzok reportedly signed the document launching the 2016 investigation into Russia’s meddling in the election and whether the Trump campaign played any role. After leading the FBI’s probe into Trump, he then joined Robert Mueller’s special counsel team as an integral investigator.

Thus, it appears that one man with a strident political agenda accomplished his twin goals of clearing Clinton and accusing Trump, evidence be damned.

And then he was caught.

Is there anyone else who thinks Strzok is just too conveniently placed to have impacted both the decisions to not prosecute Hitlery and to investigate President Trump?

The fish rots from the head down, Strzok isn't at the head of all this, so the question is --- who is?

My bet: Mueller has been behind all of it. Comey idolized Mueller, who I'm betting had some wierd influence on Comey and the placement of Strzok in both "investigations."

How big was the payment from the Clinton Crime Family Foundation?

Not big enough of Strzok (sp?) ends up on the Clinton Death List ......

What's the over-under on how much time he has left before being gunned down in a Starbucks in D.C.?

“”I love Gregg Jarrett’s comments and columns, but I wonder when he is going to be told to tone it down or he will be suppressed completely.””

He played such a quiet role on FOX news for so many years but he’s sure come on strong now and makes a whole lot of sense. I don’t believe I knew until this year that he was an attorney. I think Trump would do well by stealing him for his personal attorney. Still water runs deep and that’s what we have with him. Go Gregg!!!

"Apparently, he conducted little or no vetting of both prosecutors and investigators. How else does one explain the presence of Strzok and Lisa Page on the investigative team?"

Mueller's credibility, which was already shoddy, is totally destroyed by this news. And if there are others on his team who sent anti-Trump texts, then the whole Special Counsel investigation needs to be shut down. Nothing that comes out of it can be trusted. Mueller should hang his head in shame for these shenanigans by his team. He chose them....he owns them and their stupidity. Fire them all, and then appoint a real Special Counsel to investigate Mueller, his whole team, the FBI, Comey, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, and the Clintons, because their illegal activities are all connected with each other.

Michael R. Dreeben. There are two Michael Dreebens. The one on Comey’s team has R for a middle initial and no donation record.

Wow! Everyone else says Mueller can do an impartial and fair job. (While we know he cannot)

Jarrett had to embrace sobriety for his intellect to shine. Fox stood by him through rehab, I believe more than once.

He has a very sharp legal mind and excellent grasp of the issues.

Dreeben... guy who was mocked by Scalia and who lost his case 9-0?

“You’re saying it’s illegal to ask someone to do something that it’s lawful to do yourself,” Justice Antonin Scalia told Deputy Solicitor General Michael Dreeben. “That’s just weird.”
