Should we recognize Berlin or Bonn as the German capital? It seems when the Germanys reunited, we were just fine moving our embassy to Berlin and accepted this as the unified German capital. Since Israel says Jerusalem is its capital, who are we to say it’s not? What gives the Germans the right to tell the Israelis where to put their capital? The Knesset is in Jerusalem, the prime minister works in Jerusalem, all major government activity is conducted in Jerusalem. It makes sense for all countries to accept the obvious; Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. The fact that the opinion of the Arab street makes the Germans and other Europeans tremble, says more about them than Trump making this move.

Well said. When the Germans said they were moving their capital to Berlin we followed them.

But the Weenies have a whole lot of new guests who they seem to be more interested in listening to rather than logic and reason.
